GALUP COLLECTS 25 THOUSAND EUROS FOR CANCER RESEARCH

GALUP RACCOGLIE 25MILA EURO PER LA RICERCA SUL CANCRO

The collection is the result of the sale of panettone, doves and other charity initiatives of 2019. The charity activity continues: Christmas panettone will be from 22 to 24 November in Piazza San Carlo in Turin and from 4 December at the Istituto di Candiolo.

The historic Piedmontese confectionery company Galup has continued this year the charitable sales initiatives of its Panettoni and Colombe to raise funds for the Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research, chaired by Allegra Agnelli. On Wednesday 12 November the President of Galup, Giuseppe Bernocco, handed Allegra Agnelli the check worth 25,113 Euros, obtained from the charity activities carried out in the year 2019. Sebastiano Astegiano, partner of Bernocco inside, was also present at the delivery of TCN Group, the Albese company that owns the Galup brand (pictured left, Giuseppe Bernocco, Allegra Agnelli and Sebastiano Astegiano).

Galup's activity alongside the Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research continues: from 22 to 24 November the Galup panettone will be on charity sale in Piazza San Carlo, during the City of Turin Marathon, at the Foundation's stand; from 4 December, however, the sales counter will be set up inside the Candiolo Institute. “We are honored and proud - said Giuseppe Bernocco - to continue our support for the Foundation. Galup will continue to help with conviction the virtuous realities of the area; being able to contribute with our products to the development of research against this evil is a reason for great satisfaction for us.

We thank Mrs. Agnelli and all her Foundation for the commendable dedication for the benefit of others. " "We are grateful to Galup for the generous commitment in our favor - said Allegra Agnelli - Initiatives like this are precious because they contribute significantly to the growth of the Candiolo Institute" The Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research was born to offer a contribution significant to the defeat of cancer through the creation in Piedmont of an oncology center, the Istituto di Candiolo, which combines scientific research with clinical practice, making the best human and technological resources available to cancer patients available today.

A project made possible by the continuous and generous support of tens of thousands of Piedmontese. Galup is a historic company in Piedmont that in recent years, thanks also to the efforts of President Giuseppe Bernocco, has returned to being a point of reference for all admirers of quality confectionery products. Since the beginning, the new owner has undertaken initiatives in support of beneficial realities such as the Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research.
