GALUP HA VINTO NELLA CATEGORIA SPECIALE “PRODOTTI DA FORNO” AI PIEMONTESE FOOD AWARDS 2019

The historic Piedmontese confectionery company Galup won the second edition of the Oscars of Piedmontese food excellence in the Special Category "Bakery Products" at the Piedmont Food Awards 2019.

The prize was collected by Alberto Mossotto - Galup Marketing Director during the Award Gala which was held on Saturday 16 November at the prestigious La Margherita Golf Club location in Poirino (To).

For Galup it is a pride to have distinguished itself once again as a Piedmontese excellence in pastry and as a confectionery company that has brought Made in Italy to the world thanks to a widespread national distribution and export to foreign markets.

Since 1922, the production of the Piedmontese company has been characterized primarily by the original recipe for Panettone and Colomba, created by the pastry chef and founder Pietro Ferrua; Over the years, Galup has then expanded its references with a series of popular confectionery products such as the well-known Torta 1922, Carrè, Plumcake, biscuits, chocolate products and marron glacès.
