The award was collected by Alberto Mossotto – Galup Marketing Director during the Awards Gala which was held on Saturday 16 November at the prestigious La Margherita Golf Club location in Poirino (To).
For Galup it is a pride to have distinguished itself once again as a Piedmontese excellence in pastry making and as a confectionery company that has brought Made in Italy to the world thanks to widespread national distribution and exports to foreign markets.
Since 1922 the production of the Piedmontese company has been characterized first and foremost by the original recipe of Panettone and Colomba, created by the pastry chef and founder Pietro Ferrua; over the years, Galup has then expanded its references with a series of popular confectionery products such as the well-known Torta 1922, Carrè, Plumcakes, biscuits, chocolate products and marron glacès.
