The historic Pinerolo company Galup, now identified in Italy and abroad among the excellences of the confectionery sector for having invented the Piedmontese panettone in 1922, reconfirms for the fourth consecutive year its participation in "Art For Excellence", an art exhibition contemporary that meets business excellence in Piedmont. It is a pride for Galup to be recognized among these.
Also for the 2019 edition, Galup's artistic partner will be Max Ferrigno, the talented "popsurrealist" artist originally from Casale Monferrato: therefore, both of Piedmontese excellences!
Ferrigno, like the other artists in the exhibition, will create a work of art that interprets the history of Galup, in a mix of tradition and innovation. Everything will be revealed only during the opening of Art For Excellence, but Ferrigno already anticipates some first details: it will be a large acrylic on canvas which will continue in the pin up vein and which will focus on shades of pink and fuchsia. The love for the manga flavor and the strong personality of the artist will merge with the style of Galup, always known for its unique and immediately recognizable packaging.
It is no coincidence that the now consolidated collaboration between Galup and Max Ferrigno during Art For Excellence also translated into a line of Panettoni from the Piedmontese company: the POP ART by Max Ferrigno range. The artist's posters have been transformed into panettone and pandoro wrappers, to interpret a great Christmas classic in a contemporary key and dress up the most glamorous and metropolitan Christmas tables
