Cake 1922

The welcome return of an age-old Galup traditional: hazelnut and almond cake. This cake was created by Pietro Ferrua and his wife, Regina, back in 1922, in an old red brick bakery in via del Duomo in Pinerolo, where it was soon legendary and much in demand. Today, thanks to the hard work of our confectioners, who rediscovered, studied and faithfully followed the original, scribbled recipe notes, we can once again enjoy its wonderful aromas and flavours. Monsù Ferrua would have made it just like this.
