Hazelnuts grow in abundance throughout the Piedmont region. Monsù Ferrua couldn't resist dedicating a cake to them, developing a recipe with ground Hazelnuts*, decorated with a generous topping of chopped Hazelnuts*.

HAZELNUT CAKE - Ovenbaked product. INGREDIENTS: Soft wheat flour type “0” - Sugar - Butter – “Nocciola Piemonte IGP‘’ (Piedmont Hazelnut) 20% - Fresh class A egg yolks from free- range hens - Milk - Inverted sugar - Low fats cocoa powder - Preservative: Potassium Sorbate - Baking powder: disodium phosphate, sodium acid carbonate - Salt - Vanillin.  Decorated with “Nocciola Piemonte IGP‘’ (Piedmont Hazelnut) 4% grain. May contain traces of others nuts.
