Avola almonds, a celebrated ingredient of great Sicilian confectionery tradition, provided the inspiration for a brilliant variation on the original recipe of the 1922 cake. A cake made with ground almonds and topped with flaked almonds.

INGREDIENTS: Soft wheat flour type “0” - Sugar - Butter – Avola Almonds 19% - Egg yolk of fresh class A from free range hens - Milk - Inverted sugar - Preservative: Potassium Sorbate - Preservative: Potassium Sorbate - Baking powder: disodium phosphate, sodium acid carbonate - Salt - Vanillin. Decorated with Avola almonds 4%. May contain traces of others nuts.
