The Gianduiotto stems from the imagination and substance inspired by the native chocolate masters of Turin, forced to come to terms with the Napoleonic blockade restrictions and lack of cocoa circulating in Europe. They simply tried out a product in their mixture found in abundance in the area: the Tonda Gentile Hazelnut of the Langhe. The new chocolate was ready for the Carnival of 1865 and was distributed on the city’s streets by Gianduja, the Turin mask that gave it its name. Today, the Gianduiotto is a typical, identifiable and protected product of Turin and is known all over the world. Galup offers it in its original recipe and in the dark chocolate variations.

CLASSIC GIANDUJOTTI. Chocolates. INGREDIENTS: Sugar, Nocciole Piemonte IGP (Piedmont Hazelnuts) 28 %, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, Emulsifiers: soya lechitin. May contain traces of other nuts in shell, peanuts.

Filling: Sugar, "Nocciola Piemonte IGP” 15% (Piedmont Hazelnuts), cocoa butter, Skimmed cocoa powder. May contain traces of other nuts, peanuts.
